The same brainiacs have developed a swimming pool variant which inhibits biofilm growth within the filtration system. Which results in requiring less chlorine to achieve the same outcome, shorter backwashes and an improved swimmer experience. The sonic technology results in a approximately 25% reduction in annual chlorine usage and shorter backwashes saves approximately the volume of the pool per year. The FilterControl unit is on 24/7 and is retro-fitted, onto the outer pipe leading into the filter. It is a 12 volt system consuming consuming only 1amp.
