About rightfolks

I started rightfolks for several reasons. To help grow Marlborough businesses, create high performing workplaces through strategic people and culture initiatives and to inspire my 3 children to be the best version of themselves. I don’t like the word expert, but I consider myself a seasoned professional in the people experience- recruitment, employment branding and general HR projects to be specific. I have been fortunate enough to work for some amazing companies like Hortus, SKYCITY and Fletcher Building in their HR teams. I started my earlier career in a recruitment agency recruiting engineers in a very scarce candidate market. I enjoy and thrive on making an impact alongside a business and by inspiring them to spend time on their people plans to help their business grow. My husband and I own a civil contracting company and a property development business, so I have an owner mindset and know how important finding the right people are for a business, no matter what size you are. I volunteer in my spare time to our local school board; I like to give back to the community where I can. Over the years I’ve heard people describe me as a go getter, a caring, kind-hearted person who is super organised, loves a workshop (chat) and loves to share ideas. I am annoyingly passionate and high energy about my field and love to work on solutions to help businesses get where they need to go.
