About Riki Consultancy

Nau mai, haere mai - Riki Consultancy is a Māori owned, whānau business, leading the way in cultural capability advisory and professional development across corporate, education and public sectors with over 15 years experience. We are deeply committed to enabling individuals, teams and businesses to be culturally responsive. We know many organisations in Aotearoa New Zealand want to understand more and do more for Māori. For us the opportunity to influence and empower people, teams and organisations to positively challenge their existing beliefs and perceptions about te ao Māori (the Māori world) is what our team at Riki Consultancy do. We help to create new environments with deeper understanding of the best ways to work alongside Māori and our responsibilities to te Tiriti o Waitangi, creating a safe and empowering Aotearoa New Zealand, not just for Māori, but for all. For us success means: - To support Māori to be successful as Māori - To contribute to equity for all people in Aotearoa - To create a better Aotearoa for our tamariki mokopuna (next generation) - To restore the imbalance of power between Māori and non-Māori - To create a safer space to walk between the two worlds of being Māori and Pākehā. We believe this isn’t a job for Māori alone but for all people who live in Aotearoa New Zealand.
