About Riley-Hunte's Psychological Consultancy
RHPC has been operating on a PT and FT basis since 1999. I, Pauline Riley-Hunte am a joint Director with my husband Bazil Hunte, Health Psychologist. I worked full-time in the consultancy from 2004-2009 in Barbados, where we lived and worked from 2002-2009. After returning to England in July 2009, I worked within various NHS Trusts, largely setting up pioneering autism and disability services. I have also worked as Team Manager for SLaM Trust, with Specialist Neurodevelopmental Tier 3 CAMHS. I currently operate full-time in private practise. Part of my work involves being a Consultant Psychologist and Specialist Adviser on Disabilities and Autism in particular, to Newham College, London. Other private consultancies have included working on various projects with UNICEF, and as a Consultant Psychologist with Harvard University, Hackney Social Services LAC Team, CORAM LAC Service, Barbados Attorney General Office and Barbados Ministry of Education. I am now Project Manager / Lead on Newham College's new autism service having been involved as Specialist Autism Adviser from the design and construction stages to the final handover. The service has been named 'Learning Spectrum 3' (LS3) and opened in September 2013 with 20 learners age 16-24 with complex autism - a truly fantastic project! RHPC with Newham University Centre has also written a new degree called 'Community Health Practice' and is going through the validation process with the Open University. RHPC is also involved in a number of other community projects. RHCP are extremely proud to have been awarded one of a handful of training arrangements by Dr Hazel Douglas, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Author and Founder of the Solihull Approach Series. As fully authorised trainers, Bazil and I can now offer with accreditation, the following evidence-based training programs in accordance with accepted guidelines.
