About Ripponlea Kindergarten
Ripponlea Kindergarten is a community-based not-for-profit kindergarten offering three and four year old programs. We are a vibrant, nurturing and inclusive kinder with small student groups. We have been awarded the rating of ‘Exceeding’ the National Quality Standard for early years education, reflecting the commitment of our educators and community to cultivating a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment. We are co-located with Ripponlea Primary School and together form an education and community hub. Regular engagement and participation in each other’s activities helps make the transition from kinder to school a familiar and secure journey for the children who continue on to Ripponlea Primary. The kinder’s program is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and is complemented by a range of specialist programs including dance, music, yoga/mindfulness and sport. Like Ripponlea Primary, we have an Italian language program and since 2016 we have offered a very popular Bush Kinder program, held in the beautiful grounds of Ripponlea Estate.
