RISE Disaster Relief and Recovery, Inc., a non-profit organization (501)(3)* serving North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas, helps victims of natural and manmade disasters through the recovery and repair processes. When an emergency occurs, RISE team provides immediate assistance through local emergency channels. No one will be turned away for lack of funds, as all volunteer efforts will be funded by donations and fund-raising campaigns held throughout the year. RISE-TEAM will engage local emergency channels to provide immediate assistance on an as-needed basis. All projects are undertaken based on citizens’ needs and will be provided by this volunteer group without regard for anyone’s ability to pay for services, as all efforts are funded by donations and fund-raising efforts throughout the year. RISE-TEAM will deploy to affected areas and will provide rescue and clean-up efforts as needed. Additionally, a mobile kitchen team will deploy to provide hot meals for the local population and volunteers to help ease the impact of the disaster. Our goal and hope is to provide as much recovery and clean-up, basic human needs items, and other support as available and appropriate to maintain human dignity and recovery of our affected citizens. *in process
