About Rising Center
Rising Center is a Concord, MA based program dedicated to promoting the use of mindfulness-based interventions, including meditation, for personal growth and awakening. We also collaborate with partners in the field, as well as in other disciplines. An additional focus is following research efforts on the neurological effects of mindfulness-based interventions. A special welcome is extended to families, caregivers, and teachers of children with neurodiversity. We are particularly interested in the junction of mindfulness-based interventions in building the social and emotional capacities of children with neurodiversity, including those with autism and ADHD. Mindfulness also assists in building the capacity of teachers and caregivers to promote positive outcomes for all children.
