About Rising Stars DMV

Our team created Rising Stars DMV to bring networking and community outreach back to the next generation of leaders in the DMV area. Since COVID-19, many young professionals entering the workforce have found themselves in hybrid or remote environments, which has limited their ability to build strong local networks and professional identities. I want to bridge that gap by hosting events specifically for 23–35-year-olds to reconnect with their peers and grow their presence in the region. Over the coming months, we’ll be building out a membership program that gives members access to: Mentorship groups that meet monthly with industry veterans. Monthly events to meet potential members and build meaningful relationships (Guest Speakers). The end goal is to help young professionals establish a trusted, referral-driven network early in their careers—so that later on, they’re not just looking for business, they’re surrounded by it.
