For public and private sector clients, we have conducted numerous deterministic and probabilistic risk assessments and air monitoring programs to evaluate the impact of hazardous chemicals and radionuclides and daughter products on human health, public welfare, and the environment under CERCLA/SARA, TSCA, RCRA, RBCA, Brownfields, NRC, DOD and DOE regulations and/or programs, and at the state level: Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP), Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CTDEEP) Remedial Standards (RSRs), New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES), New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Rhode Island and other state programs, using innovative approaches to develop site-specific risk-based cleanup strategies and goals that are protective of human health and the environment. We also conduct Indoor Air Quality Forensic Investigations and have been heavily involved on behalf of the MA LSPA Technical Practices Committee, reviewing and commenting on MassDEP’s proposed 2016/7 changes to the MCP Regulations and Risk-Based Standards. For private sector clients we provide “Expert Witness” support for Toxic Tort Litigation, Qui Tam (Whistleblower) and Wrongful Death Suits in the field of toxicological assessment of the impact of pharmaceuticals and hazardous chemicals on human health in residential, commercial and industrial settings, plus Indoor Air Quality Forensic Investigations.
