About Riteh Racing Team
Riteh Racing Team is a group of enthusiastic students from University in Rijeka building a prototype race car with the purpose of participating in Formula Student competitions. Team members are covering different construction and marketing areas using their knowledge, experience, and competencies. Through years of existence, the team has thrown out over a hundred high-quality and competent people into the labor market. In eleven years of work, the team has successfully developed six prototype racing cars: RRCX, RRC11, RRC2-EVO, RRC3, RRC4 and RRC5. Behind the successful realization of the project, there are hours of designing parts of the car, various tests and simulations, and numerous calculations and knowledge. For easier project managing, the team is divided into 8 sub-teams: - Suspension - Chassis & Ergonomics - Composites - Drive & Transmission - Electronics & Telemetry - Aerodynamics - Marketing - Static disciplines Team top 3 targets: -Knowledge- Team main focus is increasing knowledge database through theoretical learning, designing with increased help of simulations, and validating everything in real life. The same importance is set to transfer collected knowledge to new members because they are the future of the team. -Reliability- Having a car that finishes the race is better than having the fastest car on the track that cannot pass the finish line. With this in mind, the team set its reliability requirements very high. -Team- In addition to working on a car team intend is to continue increasing team size, quality, and consistency. Through its membership, students gain experience in teamwork and they are being developed as future engineers which will carry the progress of the local and national community.
