About River's Purpose
Our organization was founded after personally going through the mental health process with children. We realized how difficult it was to find mental health resources within our area especially for minors. Our goal is to connect to families in crisis and fill any gaps they are currently experiencing. We do the legwork when it comes to finding care so you don't have to. We advocate for our families at the school level, helping revise/update IEP or 504 plans. We have connections within the community to help guide us to psychiatrists, therapists, counselors and discounted or free medications. We understand that mental health affects all members of the family, therefore all members need support during crisis and after.
