About River Town Film Festival
Our Mission: To support emerging, visionary filmmakers with fresh and inspiring voices, to embrace and promote the theme of community, and to engage Hunterdon County communities with remarkable cinematic, art and music experiences. The River Town Film Festival in Clinton, New Jersey showcases short and feature-length independent films that enhance our understanding of community, invite dialogue and encourage relationship. The films may have an abstract conceptual association to community; yet harness the potential to deepen awareness and insight. In addition, festival attendees enjoy art exhibits from internationally acclaimed artists, local artists from Hunterdon County and the Greater New York City area, and experience live music from both major rock stars and up and coming talented musicians. Clinton is a sophisticated small town that embraces strong community spirit. With an ongoing full schedule of events throughout the year, it’s a meeting point between cosmopolitan East Coast culture, home to artists, multi-generational farms and salt of the earth people.
