At Riverside we offer retirees an empowered, mid-care lifestyle, based on the core values of dignity, freedom, and care. Residents have the freedom to enjoy their lives to the fullest, by having our team tailor their daily and weekly activities and routine to their personal needs, desires, and abilities. Riverside is focussed on supporting the challenging transition of each resident from independent living to a midcare environment. Resident’s lives are not uprooted. Instead, the care level is adjusted to their unique circumstances. Fully qualified trained caregivers administer to their daily health needs and our outside medical team in there to provide additional medical services when needed. Importantly, these mid-care services are provided without moving residents to the austere, hospital like environment of a traditional frail care unit. Our spacious and beautiful accommodation units are adapted to ensure that our residents enjoy a luxury lifestyle, with emphasis on safety and tranquillity. Our units lead onto and blend in with or beautiful 5-hectare garden, with gazebo and rest areas, meandering walkways, birds, trees – a celebration of the beauty of nature. Our rates include accommodation in our fully furnished units, monthly rates include three meals a day, snacks, daily room service daily, unlimited internet bandwidth, television and Netflix. All residents automatically qualify for membership of our Sixty+ Empowerment Club. Weekly lifestyle enhancement activities include yoga, water aerobics, bridge, big screen movie night, our fortnightly Gathering of the Clan evenings.
