About Riverwood Mental Health Services
Riverwood Mental Health Services has the goal to improve the quality of life for persons who experience significant and persistent behavioral health issues or chronic homelessness by providing and/or coordinating a range of residential and community based services that focus on recovery, wellness and personal growth. Riverwood has evolved from operating a single group home into a multi-faceted community service provider covering southeastern Rhode Island from Providence to Newport while providing a wide variety of behavioral health services. In 2006 Riverwood expanded it's mission and began providing services for individuals and families that were experiencing chronic homelessness.
