About RivTec

RivTec are the experts when it comes to getting unique codes onto products. We’ve enabled many leading brands including McVities, Heinz, Twinings, Tetley, BurgerKing, Pedigree, Haagen Dazs and more to use unique codes. Rivendell Technical Ltd trading as RivTec was formed in September 2001. JetSet, our initial product, is a code management application. It eliminates coding errors and maximises production line efficiency. It is currently in use with brands such as Diageo and Kerry Foods. In 2006 an opportunity arose to produce a system to apply 12 digit unique random codes to individual Goodfellas Pizzas. RivTec rose to the challenge and designed software to run from a PDA. The complete project was completed within 12 weeks. With the demand for unique codes increasing, we developed the ProGen 100. This is our own custom hardware. The ProGen 100 greatly simplified the process of printing the codes from the earlier PDA system, as it consisted of a simple on/off switch. The first ProGen 100 units were actually shipped to Tetley Tea in India and installed by their personnel. At RivTec, we continually strive to improve our products and this has led to the development of the ProGen 125 which includes IP ratings and a lockable enclosure. This has to date been the workhorse of our business. The ProGen 125 has been used with such clients as McVities, Twinings Tea, Andrex, Fabulous Bakin’ Boys, The Guardian, Kerry Foods, BurgerKing, Iglo and many more.
