RKLAB AG is in the process of commercialising the RK Injector (RKI) – a unique breakthrough in fuel injection technology. It is a self-pressurising injector that interacts with the pressure in the combustion chamber to allow fuel combustion to take place at a lower temperature, virtually eliminating the formation of NOx. A paradigm shift in fuel injection technology to clean up emissions in heavy duty applications. Our goal at RKLAB is to develop technology that can make a step change reduction in global emissions. The RKI represents a breakthrough in engine technology that will have a profound effect on the competitiveness of the internal combustion engine and improve air quality across the globe. We call this our Blue Flame Technology for a greener world. RKLAB has applied for a full suite of patents internationally. As the technology develops we aim to add to this family of patents and extend the reach of intellectual property protection beyond the fuel injection system. The company is at the final stage of product development; the production of test units for use in both on road trials and independent laboratory engine fired tests.
