About RLG Construction Consulting
Roger L. Gildea is the principal of RLG Construction Consulting, LLC. He is highly accomplished and skilled construction manager with over 35 years of experience in a variety of construction industries. Roger's experience began at a very young age working for the original company, Goodea Construction. Upon graduating from college with a degree in Construction Management, he began working as a field superintendent on a day-to-day basis. As Roger continued to advance his experience and expertise, he was able to complete many projects in the areas of industrial construction, secondary education, retail and institutional. In the early 90s, Roger began managing projects for Pipeline Systems, Inc. where his focus was on the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities. In 1998, in an effort to reengage in building construction, Roger founded GilCon & Associates. GCA has been successfully operating in the tri-state area for over 20 years. GCA operates as an open shop general contractor with a primary focus on construction projects in the areas of historical restoration, banking, retail, higher education and industrial construction. As the energy industry grew, Roger added his construction knowledge to the PSI team. PSI's primary function in the energy sector is the building of natural gas pipelines and facilities, where Roger's past experiences were a natural fit. PSI has completed numerous facility projects and continues to perform this work today. As the companies continue to evolve and the growth and direction for all is towards energy, Roger decided to start RLG Construction Consulting (RLG) as a way to reengage his love of building trades. The goal of RLG is to focus Roger's 35+ years in the construction industry to aid customers with a variety of construction services, including but not limited to: project planning, project management, historical restoration, value engineering, and independent inspection.
