RESEARCH PARTNERSHIPS When governments, corporations, and research institutes are looking for the next big technical advancement in radiation detection and imaging, they often come to RMD. Rather than building out their own internal research group, partners utilize RMD’s research capabilities as an effective and cost efficient solution. Partners can also utilize RMD’s research expertise in combination with their own development capabilities to advance product commercialization from preliminary testing to prototyping, and ultimately to full-scale manufacturing. PRODUCT COMMERCIALIZATION RMD also commercializes its own research and technologies with the same commitment to process and quality for which its research is known. As such, its reputation is expanding to encompass reliable commercial production of high-quality scintillators and detectors. Its range of dual-mode gamma-neutron scintillators, notably the patented CLLBC, saves cost and enables first responders to rapidly and accurately detect a broad range of potential threats.
