About RNA Distribution
This division of CTP Ltd is closed and all staff have been retrenched. RNA Distribution was as a leader in the management and distribution of media products within the South African market by understanding the unique requirements of each of its clients, their products and the South African retail environment. RNA had developed its management and distribution systems over the past 45 years and the experience and knowledge gained was utilised exclusively to maximise the visibility and sales potential of each of the products managed and distributed by RNA. As the market leader, RNA had incorporated all levels required into one comprehensive, efficient service offering aimed at fulfilling our client’s sales and distribution objectives. RNA was established in 1964 as the distribution arm of Republican Press, distributing media products to newsagents and supermarkets. In 1975 the business was acquired by Perskor and subsequently expanded the number of third party publications that it distributed. In 1998, when Caxton acquired Perskor, RNA was transformed into a separately managed business unit and it was one of the largest magazine distributors in the southern hemisphere.
