About Roadblock
Roadblock helps communities to access our, and build their own, pedal powered machines to support public events. We have a car sized tricycle which supports a 5KW Soundsystem and have hosted events like COP26 in Millennium square in Leeds, we also support community events like Harehills Unity day and the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon. We are currently building a new machine for the community of Armley and New Wortley, and have plans to help communities across Leeds to consider, design and build their own pedal powered creations. We want to give everyone in Leeds access to the simple and green solution that bike power offers. To support this we have an amazing team of volunteers across the teams of Engagement, Arts, Media, and Engineering.
