About RoadGauge
We are transforming road inspection with innovative technology. Using a single consumer GoPro camera, we capture high-definition video and deliver 3D measurements of road distresses and features with mm-level accuracy. So, our system's performance is on par with laser scanners that are very expensive to own, operate, and maintain. Data collection is as simple as mounting a GoPro on a car and driving down the road you want to inspect. You do not need specialized vehicles. Being a consumer camera, the system works with zero maintenance. The survey needs only one person. The collected video is then uploaded to our web-based software, RoadGaugeAI, for analysis. The software is available 365 days a year from anywhere in the world. Our 3D measurement technology gives us unprecedented distress coverage. We can detect, measure, and classify all pavement distresses and features. The only exceptions are macro and micro textures. For example, our RoadGaugeAI detects rutting and measures its depth. It also measures geometric profiles, raveling intensity, pothole depths, and edge drops. We report the PCI and RCI in the UK. You can design your custom condition index too. You can set weights and deduct values for your distresses. Post-analysis, our software generates a PDF report and CSV data files. We make GIS-compatible KML and GPX files available. RoadGaugeAI ecosystem helps you plan your surveys. It also has tools to edit your GPS tracks in surveys affected by urban canyons, tree canopies, and mountains. We use our 3D imaging-powered AI to inventorize road assets as well. The asset inspection module of RoadGaugeAI covers lampposts, traffic signs, traffic lights, among others. We also report on safety issues. These include tree canopy heights, pothole depths, and abandoned traffic cones. We cater to your surface inspection needs through 3 different pricing tiers. We have a pay-as-you-go cost model. You only pay for what you use. There are no long-term commitments.
