About Roam The Halls
Roam The Halls makes cut & sewn garments and accessories. We describe our aesthetic as "future luxury". Our unique, handcrafted clothes are modular and let you customize them yourself. For example, you can zip the sleeves off of one of our knit sweaters and attach it to another garment of a different color or remove the cargo pocket from a pair of pants and attach it to one of our hoodies. This invites the wearer into participation as a creative collaborator. We design and manufacture everything ourselves to give our garments a unique and elegant fit. We also incorporate our own fine art and illustrations into our designs. We are a black-owned business and social justice-minded. The name "Roam The Halls" references our experiences growing up as social chameleons "roaming" from group to group. One day we would be kicking it with skaters the next we would be doing theater or playing basketball. These experiences led us to understand that while we all may present different affectations, everyone is deeply human and has more in common on a fundamental level than they may realize. We often use skeletons in our designs because they are genderless, ageless, and raceless. Roam The Halls is about transcending social convention in favor of deep human creativity and connection.
