About Robert Film Services

Robert Film Services owned and operated by Robert Miniaci, is dedicated to the preservation, advancement and perfection of 16mm and 35mm film projection technology. We strive to provide filmmakers, cinema owners and film fans a high resolution projected image. Since its' inception in 1976 RFS has created a unique niche market by providing 35mm and 16mm portable film projection systems to non-theatrical and outdoor screening locations, such as film festivals as well as providing looping systems for film art installations in museums and art galleries worldwide. The drive to perfect the projected image has resulted in the development and innovation of a patented film projection technology known as Technalight. The Technalight product is a light enhancement process that delivers enhanced illumination to the screen. Installation of the Technalight system restores brilliance, resolution and clairyt to film projections, it eliminates the need for lamps about 5000 watts, and reduces both electricity costs and lamp replacement costs. Technalight can be retrofit into any exisiting lamphouse in use in all major theaters.
