About Robyne's Nest

A non-profit organization that aims to help at-risk and homeless high school students, with little to no parental support, with academic, financial and life skills education in the Huntington Beach area. Our organization was started to help homeless high school students who have been abandoned, kicked out or are just being neglected by their parents/guardians. These students, despite their difficult and unfavorable circumstances, continue to want to go to school. They don’t drop out, turn to drugs or criminal activity. Without a high school diploma and the educational foundation to become self-sustaining, they will become homeless adults in our community. Statistics show that homelessness generates staggering negative impact on a community. It increases crime and dysfunctional behaviors that a community must deal with. With so many reactive agencies in our communities trying to “fix” our broken adults, we are being proactive by focusing on the maturing teen and help set them on a good, strong path to become self-sustaining, productive members of our community. It starts here… now, in these formative teenage years. Without the guidance, assistance and basic necessities to thrive and learn, they will only continue to struggle. This is a proactive approach to keep our youth away from drugs, crime, homelessness, human trafficking and early parenthood. Our vision is to educate and empower our teens/young adults to become stable, productive and contributing citizens of our community. Investing in homeless and at-risk teens is investing in the future of our community, our state, nation and world!
