Rockhampton Sands is conveniently located at Fairy Bower adjacent to the Rockhampton Ring Road and approximately 10km from Rockhampton CBD. Rockhampton Sands has been efficiently producing quality products for repeat customers and supplying to various notable construction and maintenance projects in the region. Our quarry operates with a full fleet of extraction equipment and full-time quarry specific professionals experienced in production and product quality control. Rockhampton Sands' quarry boasts large and consistent sand, clay, red loam, aggregates and construction water resources naturally occurring on site. We have available tested stock of sand and clay on site, together with the ability to expand operations and increase supply capacity to meet customer needs. Custom materials compliant with customer specific testing regimes can be produced for larger projects. Different grades of sand (fine, medium, coarse and bedding) and a range of fills and aggregates are available which are suitable for a variety of purposes including road, civil and building construction and maintenance, pre-mix concrete, landscaping, drainage, arenas, training rings and playing fields. Rockhampton Sands is also licensed to receive waste concrete, bricks and tiles.
