About Rockin' Against Multiple Sclerosis

RAMS is a student-run organization within the University of Missouri’s (MU) Truman School of Public Affairs working tirelessly alongside the MU Health Care MS Institute to enhance the quality of life for all Mid-Missourians impacted by MS. We raised money and provide service for clients in 38 counties in Mid-Missouri. Recent findings from a National MS Society study estimate nearly one million people in the US are living with MS, more than double the last reported number. All funds raised will be used to help individuals who have MS purchase items insurance does not cover; items that would change their lives for the better (e.g., cooling products, threshold ramps, walkers, shower chairs, minor home modifications, stairlifts, repairs on power chairs and scooters, We were established in 1993, and run from October to February of each year.
