About Rohingya Women Development Network
Rohingya Women Development Network (RWDN) is the first and only Rohingya women’s group in Malaysia. Founded by Sharifah Shakirah in 2016. RWDN's vision is to create and nourish a strong Rohingya community where men and women collaborate to empower future Rohingya generations. Their aim is to teach women to harness their abilities, develop new skills and provide them with opportunities to lead. The main goal of this social enterprise is to promote a Rohingya women-led community organisation to strengthen and develop the Rohingya community through education, skills training and advocacy.
