About Roland Baldi Architects

Roland Baldi Architects is an architecture and urban design studio with a recognisable language: simple but different. Our work spans buildings, urban planning, interiors, landscape and public space, always responding to scale, context and function. We reduce architecture to its essence, using pure materials and local references to create timeless, high-quality spaces that respond to people and place. Each project is guided by clarity, functionality and sensitivity to context - whether it is the Civil Protection Centre in Renon, the Mobility Centre in Collalbo, the kindergartens and daycare centres in Chienes and Sluderno, the Meran 2000 ropeway or the TechnoAlpin headquarters in Bolzano, among others. Many of our projects are exhibited and published worldwide and continue to receive numerous national and international awards, including the Premio Architetto dell’Anno, Wood Architecture Prize, best architects award, Premio Architettura Città di Oderzo, South Tyrolean Architecture Prize and Iconic Awards, and have been presented at the Venice, Pisa and São Paulo Architecture Biennales. The cultural diversity of South Tyrol is reflected in our studio, where people from different countries and educational backgrounds work together. We believe in dialogue, curiosity and collaboration and are always open to new colleagues who share our passion for architecture.
