About ROLD

ROLD was born in 1963, from the entrepreneurial idea of Rocchitelli Onofrio and Loro Dolores, to develop innovative solutions for the world of household appliances, able to make interaction with users easier and more intuitive. These innovative solutions, designed to meet the needs of consumers in various sectors, have allowed ROLD to grow year after year and position itself as a reliable supplier and able to anticipate customer needs. Today ROLD is a medium-sized company led by the second generation of the Rocchitelli family; with them, on one hand the positioning in the components market has been strengthened and on the other new horizons have been opened, with an increasingly systematic approach to the internationalization and digitization of production processes. One of ROLD's founder's legacies is the curiosity about emerging technologies and the desire to integrate them into the company's production processes. In order to continue to innovate and be able to compete worldwide, in 2017 ROLD also created its multidisciplinary laboratory of Innovation and Applied Research R-Lab, where researchers with different skills work together to design new solutions. R-Lab does not only collaborate with customers and potential new partners, but also with research centers and universities, both for joint research projects and for training activities directly in the classroom. To treasure this experience and to share our conception of continuous training, Rold Academy was born in 2020. Driven by the will to continue to grow and seek new collaboration opportunities, in 2022 ROLD then became part of the MIND ecosystem, which marries our same values of presence on the territory, contamination between different worlds, meeting and exchange of complementary knowledge from ours.
