Founder Chris Pangalos, a US Marine Veteran started the company in the early 1980's in NY and for over three decades has entertained thousands of diverse crowds all around the world. Chris' dynamic, fun, outgoing, friendly personality along with his ground breaking, trend setting ways completely changed the DJ scene upon his arrival in the Carolina's while his versatility, customer satisfaction and professionalism have kept him fresh, current and on top since. Rolling Thunder is now the longest continually active DJ service in Charlotte. Chris has traveled the globe performing for multicultural people in Greece, Spain, Japan, Italy, Korea, France, Tunisia, Ireland, Albania, Okinawa, Puerto Rico and Hawaii to name a few. Chris has been voted, "Charlotte's Best DJ" so many times by all of the city's entertainment magazines that the headlines simply read, "The Perennial Winner Spins Another Hit Year!" He has been seen on MTV and featured many times in numerous industry publications like DJ Times magazine and Mobile Beat International where he was the first DJ ever profiled in their Premier Edition. He has written columns as well and in addition to winning DJ competitions he has also been a judge in DJ spinoffs. Rolling Thunder's popularity was so immense that Chris was hired by the Nation's largest entertainment booking agency to start and run a DJ Division for them which he did extremely well building it to a position of prominence unequaled in the Southeast. An incredibly successful Booking Agent/DJ Division Manager Chris recruited a roster of over 100 DJ's training & supervising them in his proven award-winning ways. Chris was the headline DJ for Charlotte's massive Y2K New Year's celebration rocking a crowd of 75,000 into 2000!
