About Roman Mosaic Workshops
I'm Lawrence Payne and I help people to understand and experience what is could have been like to create those mosaic floors that are so emblematic of the Roman world. I do this through training both online and in-person workshops, publications, free information to get you started, and much more. I've worked with history enthusiasts, classicists, modern mosaic artists, archaeologists, university classes, and primary school children. If you want to find out how those artisans of 2,000 years ago were able to create their masterpieces then just get involved and not just learn but experience it too, I want to not just create what they created but to see what they saw.
