About Ronstan International

Over 70 years ago, Ron Allat and Stan Lenepveu established a boatbuilding facility in Highett, Australia. The company expanded rapidly, eventually focusing its efforts on designing and manufacturing quality sailboat fittings and deck hardware. Today, Ronstan International is a globally recognised brand. Our head office in Melbourne, Australia is home to our state-of-the-art design facilities, advanced warehousing, and global distribution system, handling more than 4.9 million units each year. International offices are based in the United States and Denmark, while three production facilities in Australia, Denmark, and Indonesia each specialise in specific product ranges to optimise local expertise and operational efficiencies for worldwide distribution to over 40 countries. Found aboard some of the largest and fastest sailboats in the world and the official supplier to the Olympic powerhouse Australian Sailing Team, Ronstan has also expanded beyond the marine industry to become a global leader in tensile architecture. Ronstan Tensile Architecture provides a uniquely comprehensive blend of products and services, including concept development, design assistance, cable and fitting selection, structural analysis, custom fabrication, and installation. Our architectural capabilities have received international acclaim, prominently featured in several high-profile projects such as Kuala Lumpur’s International Airport, Beijing’s Bank of China, Sydney’s Star City Casino, Melbourne’s Bolte Bridge, and Las Vegas’s MSG Sphere. In November 2023, Ronstan joined Groupe Wichard, an industry leader with over ten world-renowned brands from the sailing and safety markets.
