About Rooted in Reading
We develop and produce innovative resources for teachers, which include a collection of teaching materials that are practical, effective, and adaptable to various classroom settings. These resources are designed to help teachers intentionally teach reading for meaning. We are confident that the materials deliver because we are using them in our own classrooms, and we have seen significant improvements in our students' reading comprehension and overall engagement with texts. Now, we are excited to share these resources with other teachers, providing them with the tools they need to enrich their students' understanding of the texts they use in meaningful and impactful ways. Our commitment to professional development and collaboration has led us to create workshops where we share our experiences of how we are integrating reading for meaning strategies into our curriculum. We have created a much needed space for teachers to come together to collaborate, be inspired, share ideas and solutions and develop lessons that can enrich their existing programme.
