Roots of Hope, or Raíces de Esperanza, is an international network of 5,000 young people who care deeply about the future of Cuban youth. Founded in 2003, it is a non-profit, non-partisan group that sponsors academic and cultural initiatives focused on youth empowerment in Cuba. The Raices network members strive to build an international network of young people, host inspiring and culturally-enriching conferences and grassroots events, mobilize youth abroad in solidarity and empower our counterparts in Cuba through material and moral support to be the authors of their own future.
