About ROSTAR

We are the Top Romanian biscuits producer, occupying the second place on the Romanian market (both in sales and volume), with a total market share of 11% in sales and 14.2% in volume. Also, we are the market leader on Petit Beurre biscuits, having a 26% market share on this category. Our product portfolio covers all the categories of this segment (sweet biscuits, sandwich type biscuits, baby biscuits, specialties and crackers). We are highly focused on increasing our market share on the top category which is the sandwich type biscuits (64% of the market), where we currently hold 7.6%. The enhancement of our presence on all these categories is a point of interest for us, having approximately 20 new products under development. We dispose of a factory equipped with high capacity production lines, adapted for a high technological productivity, located in Ilfov County, which is currently producing 70 tons of biscuits per day. With a history and an experience of 20 yersin this field, we managed to maintain our leader position on the market due to our rich technological know-how. Also, our specialized personnel has over 20 years of experience in the development of new recipes and innovative products. To ensure our presence on both International and Romanian market, we concentrate on the distribution system, offering a wide range of selling possibilities. Products being available in selling points like small stores (we work with 40 different distributors all around the country), supermarkets (Rewe group and Mega Image), hypermarkets (Cora, Carrefour, Auchan) and cash & carry supermarkets (Selgros,Metro). The business is growing from year to year, due to this distribution system and close relationships that we managed to develop with each FMCG retailer.
