About Rotaract Club of UWI Cave Hill
As a social service club, our main objective is to provide community and internationally based service on key areas derived from Rotary International. These areas of service are as follows: Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention; Disease Prevention and Treatment; Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene; Maternal and Child Health; Basic Education and Literacy; Community Economic Development; and Supporting the Environment. Additionally, this is done while providing a socially enriching environment as we aspire to help members grow and develop themselves as well rounded citizens of society. Not only are we a locally based organization but we are also recognized internationally through our parent club/foundation; the Rotary International Club. As a result, members are exposed to a variety of people and cultures who have plenty to share. Furthermore, we cater to the development of our members’ social and professional skills through various events and seminars. Members have the opportunity to give more of themselves to a higher cause through service, as we always say; “Service Above Self”.
