About Rotaract Club - Western University

Founded in 1984, we partner with local organizations and develop initiatives to provide diverse opportunities in the community. As a student-led organization, we are committed to community service, professional growth, and global impact. Through hands-on projects, leadership development, and networking, we empower students to create meaningful change locally and internationally—fostering collaboration, growth, and service above self. Our signature initiatives include: V-Chain: A platform offering multiple volunteering opportunities with various local organizations, connecting students with meaningful community service projects. Juvenile Diabetes Camp: A three-day camp for children with Type 1 Diabetes, where we run fun, inclusive activities that allow kids to explore their interests while connecting with others who share similar experiences. Parents also meet others in similar situations, expanding their support networks. Start2Finish: An after-school running and reading program empowers elementary students, providing a space where they feel motivated and uplifted to succeed. Elementary Leadership Seminars: A three-week workshop series for students in grades 3-5, educating on important topics such as bullying, the environment, nutrition, leadership, self-esteem, media literacy, and diversity. Global Health Symposium: A transformative event featuring inspiring speakers, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities, all dedicated to exploring health topics that shape our world.
