About Rotary Club of Paducah, KY

The Rotary Club of Paducah meets every Wednesday from Noon until 1:00pm in the Myre River Room of the Carson Center, 100 Kentucky Avenue, in Paducah, Kentucky. Each week’s luncheon meeting includes time for fellowship with other members and guests, plus a program featuring speakers addressing a wide array of topics of interest to the community. Established in 1915 as only the second sanctioned Rotary Club in Kentucky, The Rotary Club of Paducah today has approximately 200 members. Our membership reflects a wide cross-section of the community including business, professional, government, and non-profit organization leaders. We are proud of the talent and resources our club members share in their service to Rotary, and the community. The Paducah club is part of Rotary International District 6710 serving the western half of Kentucky. Throughout the year, Rotarians volunteer their time and support to projects for the Rotary Education Assistance Program (REAP) funding everything from college scholarships to speech contests to free dictionaries for elementary students. Each week during the school year, students representing local high schools attend club meetings. Being in Paducah, aka “Quilt City USA”, the club organizes and hosts a yearly Rotary Antique Quilt Show that attracts thousands of visitors. All proceeds from the Quilt Show go toward the various REAP projects. In addition, the club “rings the bells” each holiday season for the yearly Red Cross Kettle Drive. We welcome guests who may be interested in membership in the club, and visiting Rotarians are always welcome.
