We are a mortgage and insurance broking company, based in Harpenden, which is passionate about helping our clients and the wider community. Unlike most brokers we do not charge a fee for the advice we provide to clients and purely get paid by the lender when we place a mortgage with them. We strongly believe that private companies should also support their local communities and having reviewed our approach to corporate social responsibility we have developed an innovative approach to supporting schools. Our commitment is that we are donating 10% of our income to schools, as chosen by our clients. One of the directors, Stephen Bremner, has been a teacher and is delighted that the company is supporting schools in this way. We have already donated substantial sums of money to schools in Harpenden and we are planning to increase our donations to schools across Hertfordshire. We see this as a promising start to our initiative but think it is the tip of an iceberg when it comes to what we intend to give to schools in the year ahead and as our offer to schools becomes increasingly well known. We are hoping to change the face of business practice as a result of our approach and are tremendously excited by the potential of what we are doing to help schools. We also arrange both professional and personal insurance and will carefully review your needs to ensure that your policies are appropriate to your circumstances. Rothamsted Financial also works with a blue chip investment company who will be able to plan a strategy with you to ensure that you are investing wisely to meet your needs.
