FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS. Our founder Hans Rothenbuhler grew up in Switzerland, the son of a Master Cheesemaker. Orphaned at age six, he was lovingly raised by a caretaker known as Sister Anna who taught him the importance of faith while he trained to carry on the family’s cheese making tradition. Hans became certified as a Master Cheesemaker in his home country. But he realized his true potential by bringing his faith in God, respect for people, and passion for excellence to America.
