Rowing Dock’s mission is to provide safe and enjoyable recreational access to Lady Bird Lake by offering a wide variety of watercraft rentals, lessons and unique events. Our highly skilled and friendly staff work hard to create memorable experiences for every person that comes down to the water. We offer kayaks, canoes, stand up paddleboards- SUP for short- and paddleboats for rent daily. We also offer unique Austin-centric offerings such as SUP at Sunset, SUP Yoga, Full Moon Paddles, and Bat Paddles to the Congress Avenue Bridge to witness the nightly departure of Austin's famous bats. In addition, we will host private events and parties for you and your friends and colleagues as a way to enjoy all that Lady Bird Lake has to offer. Despite its central location just minutes from downtown, Rowing Dock feels secluded and far from bustling city life, surrounded by the Zilker Nature Preserve and set on one of the lake's most scenic stretches. From its extensive calendar of events to the colorful dock and park-like atmosphere, Rowing Dock has created a fun, friendly, and inviting place to spend the day in Austin.
