About Royal Holloway Geography Society

The Geography Society (GeogSoc) is the go to society for all Geographers. It is made up from Committee members, staff and students in the department that attend our events. Our goal as a Society is to put on events where geographers can mix and socialise away from the stresses of coursework and exams. We are there for everyone in the department to feel welcome and included. We hold many events all year around including our two star events; the Christmas Formal and the Boat Party. These two events can see up to 200 people come together which promotes amazing advertisement for the department as well as funds to keep GeogSoc going for the next year and cohort.
