About Royal Holloway Physics Society
Founded in 2004, the Royal Holloway Physics Society is an IOP Gold affiliated student departmental society for physics students at Royal Holloway. Readers of physics automatically gain free membership to this illustrious society when they enrol! We exist to support our members’ academic achievement, social interactions, and physical and mental welfare. Therefore, we encourage participation and any contribution – whether you want to help run the society, organise social events or just attend them we’re always on the lookout for new talent. For the upcoming year we have a variety of weekly events planned – a Ninja warrior trip, pub quizzes, treasure hunts, capture the flag, shirt tie-dying, and coffee mornings just to list a few! On top of these, we also have our yearly tradition of the Christmas meal and the PhySoc Ball! We all look forward to seeing you at our events.
