Established in 1990, Royal India is the oldest Indian restaurant in Raleigh, NC. When we opened our door in Raleigh, we soon became a popular eatery for many South Asians (natives of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh & neighboring countries) who craved food from their homeland. Overtime, our authentic and delicious Indian cuisine became hugely popular in the broader segment of population. In order to offer an authentic Indian cuisine, Royal India prepares food in real charcoal clay oven, an essential requirement for quality food preparation in many parts of South Asia.
