About Royal Lymington Yacht Club
Situated in a prime location on the Lymington River, the Royal Lymington Yacht Club is a warm and welcoming home for yachting, dinghy sailing, and motor boating. Established over a century ago, the Club boasts an enviable record of success on the water, counting numerous national, international, and Olympic champions among its members. RLymYC runs regular dinghy and keelboat racing throughout the season, alongside cruising sails, rallies, and meets. A renowned RYA-affiliated training centre, the Club offers a range of training courses and hosts a wide calendar of regattas, championships, and sailing events. Its thriving Junior and Youth section provides year-round training and inspires a lifelong passion for sailing. Endorsed by Patron HRH The Princess Royal, the Club has also organised ‘Wednesday Junior Sailing’ for over 35 years – teaching seamanship, dinghy sailing, rowing, and powerboat skills to local children who may not otherwise have the opportunity. The Club’s popular bar and restaurant, managed by the world-renowned Mosimann’s, offers arguably the most stunning riverside views in Lymington. A vibrant social programme caters to members of all ages, and the venue is also available for private hire. RLymYC warmly welcomes new members – from seasoned sailors to those just starting out on the water. For more information, visit www.rlymyc.org.uk.
