The team at the Royal Treatment is full of experience, training and knowledge, but most important they believe in what all should believe, that all under their care just be treated like their royal family. Royal Treatment was formed in 2011 by LSU graduate Amanda Floyd. With over 15 years in the pet industry, Amanda has a passion and joy in working with dogs and cats. Royal Treatment's original location was located on Perkins Road and offered a calming philosophy for dog grooming, bathing and daycare. It was awarded the LSU Student Incubator of the year award, the LSU Top 100 award, Best of 225 Awards, Parent Magazines Family Favorite and more. With the help of a loyal clientele, Royal Treatment grew to expand into its current location on 190 Lee Drive. Here it boasts an over 7000 square feet facility with fenced in separated grass yard, an intimate boarding, daycare and spa setting for dogs . Amanda’s belief that her clients should only be treated like family, but pampered like royalty shines throughout the facility. “This new facility was always the goal. I just wanted to do it right. These dogs and cats are more than just guests, they are someone’s child. I didn’t want the typical rows and rows of kennels. I wanted nice, comforting areas where each guest could be treated with one on one care, love and attention.” -Amanda Floyd Royal Treatment are members of the International Boarding & Pet Services Association. Services offered at Royal Treatment include: All suite overnight stay, including beds, multiple walks per day, chandeliers, and luxury upgrades such as cuddle time, playtime, turn down tuck in services, and pawparazzi. The Spa offers luxury services from head to toe for dogs. Professional groomers are members of the National Dog Grooming Association & offer everything from a simple pawdicure and therapeutic bath to a mud bath, hair dye and hair cut.
