The Institute of Academic Surgery (IAS) is located on Gadigal Land, where the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital campus is situated. The IAS was established in 2014 and is the primary hub for surgical research and education at RPA. It aims to be at the forefront of leading surgical practice and patient care. The IAS is a collaboration between Sydney Local Health District and The University of Sydney, and is committed to ensuring a vibrant academic presence across our District.
