In 1939, Leroy and Eugenia Culpepper started this business, driving a truck around the City of Richmond delivering food to their customers. Today, Richmond Restaurant Service is the leading independent Foodservice Distributor in Virginia. Located in Ashland, Virginia with over 90,000 square feet of warehouse space and a fleet of over 28 trucks, we are proud of our success and never having lost sight of Leroy's vision of being the best independent distributor of quality products and superior customer service. Products We are a broadline distributor, featuring thousands of fresh, frozen, refrigerated and grocery products in stock. Our products include a diverse selection of national brands, from fresh produce and top quality meats to paper products and cleaning supplies. Service Customer Service is our #1 priority. We want our customers to enjoy working with us and know that we are here for them. Our goal is to make their job easier and because we are independent we can offer quick response times to their needs. Resources We are a member of UniPro Foodservice, Inc., the largest foodservice distribution cooperative in the United States, with over $57 billion in buying power. We can offer an optimum variety of products at competitive prices. Technology We have state of the art technology throughout our operation. With Roadnet routing and Power Warehouse pallet and truck cubing, we build routes to enhance our drivers' performance and service to our customers the way they deserve. Our wireless warehouse network assures that our inventory is received properly by barcode scanning and can track product from receiving to delivery with voice controlled selection technology. With Power Warehouse, we are able to assure our inventory integrity, track date sensitive product, and give our customers the service they expect and deserve.
