RS Solutions manufactures thermal systems to test integrated circuits (IC’s) at high temperatures – up to 450˚C (842˚F). To paraphrase an advertising slogan: “We don’t make Integrated Circuits … we make them more reliable.” Our products provide solutions for customers’ quality control and reliability operations – which result in high quality, reliable products. Testing IC’s above 200˚C is a small but growing market and RS Solutions is in a unique position to meet this demand. Technologies originally developed for space and high end military applications are now applied to consumer products, including LED Lighting, communications (i.e. Cell/smart phones) and gaming (i.e. gesture recognition, virtual reality games). Another example is high speed fiber optic cables, used by consumers and business for many reasons, including streaming movies, cloud storage, data transfer and many other purposes, are built with IC’s that are more reliable with our test systems. We are at the forefront helping R&D labs develop and test new applications for more and more powerful electronics used in an expanding market place. Core competencies include Mechanical Engineering, 3D CAD modeling, management of Bill of Materials (BOM), Supply Chain management, CNC Machining, Assembly and Test. Specific products include Ceramic Sockets with Zero Insertion Force (ZIF), Racks, Thermal Systems (Ovens and Direct Heat), active cooling, Wire harnesses, Electrical Bias Driver Boards, and Data Acquisition Boards.
