Founded in 1870, Blackburn Starling & Company Limited is one of the most renowned names in the UK for the design, fabrication, assembly & testing of LV motor control centres, switchboards, control panels, systems integration solutions & metal fabrication. From our centrally located Nottingham factory we provide a complete in-house manufacturing solution with metal fabrication, copperwork manufacture and powder coating of our Starline type-tested BS EN 61439-1 LV assemblies. All projects are designed and manufactured in full accordance with our ISO 9001:2015 accredited facilities. Our motor control centres, switchboards, control panels & systems integration activities are delivered to a broad range of customers throughout a diverse range of industrial market sectors both in the UK and globally. With the ability to design & deliver projects covering the full range, from a few hundred pounds to large multi-million pound infrastructure projects with very challenging timescales, we have the in-house skills & resources to deliver backed up by a proven track record built up over many years. Blackburn Starling is also one of the leading companies in the upgrade, modification, extension, re-testing & certification of existing LV assemblies and assets which require modification or extension to extend their operational life. This includes LV equipment from obsolete and discontinued manufacturers where we can carry out site surveys and provide reports to carry out modifications or replace obsolete or non-maintainable components. These works can avoid the substantial cost, disruption and risks associated with the complete replacement of the LV assembly or continued failures of the existing equipment.
